Job Title

Job Overview:

As a Resort Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our resort. You will be needed to oversee all of the aspects of property – right from the staffing decisions to quality control and the guest services too. You will be expected to take part in some marketing efforts by attracting the new guests and should take the responsibility of retaining our old guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Manage and maintain the relationships with vendors and with the customers by providing service for the guests, handling inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Staff Management: Recruiting, Hiring, and training the resort staff members, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, and recreational staff.
  • Operations Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the resort, including check-in procedures, and ensuring whether the departments are working efficiently and collaboratively.
  • Financial Management: Reviewing financial reports to determine whether the profit margins are adequate. Develop and adhere to budgets, control expenses, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Marketing and Sales: Deal with the customers and involve in some marketing strategies to improvise the sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the resort and implement sales strategies to attract new guests and repeat business.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the resort's facilities are properly maintained and the rooms, and common areas are well-maintained, clean, and in excellent condition.

  • Safety and Security: Ensure that the safety measures are properly maintained and implemented. You need to the enforce safety procedures to protect guests, staff, and the property
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and oversee special events, conferences, and weddings hosted at the resort.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Environmental Initiatives: Promote sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices within the resort's operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the resort complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle emergencies and crisis situations efficiently and calmly.
